The Pioneer Woman Rocks!

Ree Drummond – The Pioneer Woman

If you don’t know her already, which I’m sure most of you do…I’d like to introduce you to Ree Drummond, an inspiring woman who left the city and married a true cowboy and now lives the life of a “Pioneer Woman.”

She is an amazing cook, photographer, and blogger.  I envy her photography and every detailed recipe of her’s I’ve made has been out of this world good.  Her blog is followed by thousands and is just wonderful.  She highlights her life on the ranch, her children, her photography and photography lessons (which I need to dive into), and of course her cooking.  It’s definitely a “must follow.”

My two teenage boys love her recipes too.  Last week, after searching her site for something new to cook over the weekend, I found a recipe for her Marlboro Man (that’s what she calls her husband) Sandwiches.

The Marlboro Man Sandwich

The recipe looked fairly easy, contained a lot of butter (come on..anything with that much butter has to be good), and I knew something like this would definitely satisfy 2 hungry teenage boys.  I also must say, that the step-by-step photos on her blog for her recipes are amazing and so helpful.

So, Saturday night, I tackled it, and OH. MY. GOSH. it was soooo good.  You need to try this out and take a look at her site…you won’t be sorry. And, she has a cookbook out, which I really need to buy.  Would be a great Christmas gift…hint, hint.
