My New Home

There is still lots to do to decorate the new house, which will be lots of fun, but here’s what it looks like so far.

I’ve always wanted a big front porch and this one will be fun to decorate for each season.  I’m all ready for Halloween!

Come on in…

The house was built in 1920 and has great character.  It was converted into a duplex and we have the first floor and basement.  It’s not big…but just enough for us.

I love the big old windows and the dark hardwood floors.

We have an eat-in kitchen but no dining room, which is really fine.  We rarely eat at the table any way.  This kitchen is huge compared to my last one…the smallest kitchen in the world.

I think my bedroom is twice the size of my old one.  I love the windows in here too.  Don’t pay attention to my messy bed.  I swear I can make a bed better than that.  :-\  That chandy on the floor will replace the boring one in here.

The boys’ room wasn’t quite ready to photograph or the bathroom.  I’ll share those later.

Lots to do, but there it is. 🙂
